Rise Up Exhibition
Members of CADA North East have been working with Mothers’ Union Newcastle Diocese
Chapel of the Resurrection, St Nicholas’ Cathedral, Newcastle NE1 1PF
1st July - 10th August 2026
This exhibition is part of the 150th anniversary celebration of Mothers’ Union.
The 1st Internet Branch, with the help of four other branches, provide invaluable support to three local domestic abuse refuges.
As a result, we have been asked to create an exhibition about domestic abuse and the work we do.
Around the Chapel of the Resurrection, you will be able to follow the story of a survivor, alongside items that demonstrate the story, including some thought provoking, but beautiful art.
Cathedral opening hours: 8am-6pm Mon-Fri. 8am-4pm Sat. 8am-5pm Sun (please delay sightseeing visits until after 11.15am)
Cathedral cafe: 9am-4pm Mon-Sat.
Sponsored Walk!
The Pilgrim’s Way:
Winchester to Canterbury
Please help Rosemary raise essential funds to support survivors of domestic abuse.
Rosemary plans to set off on 9th August, completing this 138-mile journey in 12 days.
Here’s the deal: Rosemary does the walking, you do the supporting, and together we can help survivors of domestic abuse navigate their way to a better life. How does that sound?
We are experiencing an increase in church training and we are reaching more survivors.
We have some wonderful opportunities but can’t grow without increased finances.
Can you partner with us to help make it happen?
Four ways to give:
Through Rosemary’s GoFundMe page
Email info@cadanortheast.org to make a bank transfer
PayPal to rosesknew@gmail.com
Cheque: Please make cheques payable to R K New and deliver to Rosemary.
Thank you for your support!
